Online Maps

These photos are screenshots taken on my computer of Microsoft Virtual Earth in Firefox on Windows.

Online maps are getting more and more interesting – especially if you are like me and like maps. Have you see that Google maps now has a “street view” feature. Currently it is only available for the US as far as I know.

Anyway, I found an interesting map in Brooklyn showing the headquarters.

You might also have seen that Microsoft has made a new program called Virtual Earth

The program is a plug in for your web browser and allows you to see maps in “Bird’s Eye View”. America and Europe seems to be covered so far, not Australia.
