First look: Google Talk
Google has gotten into the instant messaging business.
I downloaded Google Talk yesterday to try it out. Franner (known to some people as Pudsermaan)
also downloaded it and we just had a quick call.
The call quality was very clear, just as good as Skype if not better. But both Franner and I are in Denmark and have broadband connections. I’ll have to try it out with someone in Oz :-)
The chatting function works exactly as MSN messenger, just without all the bells, whistles and ADVERTISING – thankfully. I wonder how long that will last?
