Cassowaries on the way to Mission Beach

Cassowaries are a large bird similar to emus. On the road from Tully to Mission Beach there is a special area for Cassowaries where they wonder around living in the surrounding jungle.

On our way we happened to see a large male Cassowary cross the street with two of his young.
